Children and Youth

This department runs the following projects:
Life skills: The vision is to equip young people to make informed decisions pertaining to issues that affect them. The Life skills programme facilitates two projects for Youths of different ages and a leadership project for prefects and other young leaders:
- Adventure Unlimited aims to combine accurate information about health, sexuality and HIV and AIDS with the promotion of whole some relationships in families and peer groups and biblical values of purity, respect for others and personal worth.

- Choose Freedom is aimed at enabling teenagers to choose sound values and healthy attitudes for themselves with special emphasis on healthy relationships and HIV and AIDS.

- The Leadership Tree equips student leaders with the knowledge necessary to develop leadership skills for life and Provides student leaders with the skills to practise leadership in a manner the increases school morale and the community image of the school. This enables the school principal and the teachers to effectively lead the student leaders, while increasing open dialogue and respect between both bodies.

You Matter – Participatory Health, Hygiene and Life skills Education: This project addresses the prevention of Cholera and other water borne diseases, HIV and AIDS as well as the significance of the children in combating these.
